Yagua

Yagua is J.C. Newman's tribute to a Cuban rolling tradition from the 1940s, inspired by a family story of hand-rolling cigars on the farm without molds or presses, binding each bundle with leaves from the Cuban Royal Palm — known as the yagua. Recreated in Nicaragua with under-fermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers over Nicaraguan filler, every cigar is bound in genuine yagua palm leaf and aged a full year before release, giving each one its own unique, one-of-a-kind shape.
